Unicotherium, Leviathan, Dracosaur

Famously known as being called the Unicorn, Unicotherium Equus is a species of horse only found on Atlas. Aside from their gain to fame for their signature horn, these are the galaxy's largest horses to have ever lived.

It still baffles scientists as to just how the eohippus found its way to Atlas, with alien abduction being the only possible answer. Whatever it was, it brought fourth horses into the Atlian atmosphere and created some of the most terrifying predators and most gentle herbivores at the same time.

Their horns on their head are primarily used for defense and display, females use it to protect their young from predators while males use it for combat against each other. It is a horn powerful enough to penetrate through the chest of a terror bird.

The feathers over their hooves protect them from the harsh winters that they live through for nine months, it is the price they pay for being arctic animals. Generally white throughout the winter, once spring comes they all have their own individual coat colours for the rest of the year.

At least three times the size of a blue whale, these giants roam the sea. Leviathans are capable of diving up to 2000 ft into the deep and dark inky sea. Much like whales on earth, they locate their prey using ecolocation- soundwaves which bounce off the the prey and sends an image back. Due to their massive lungs they are able to cope with being under water for at least eight hours at a time once they are fully grown.

What makes this whale remarkable is their jaws, they have enough of a bite force to be able to effortlessly snap a battleship in half.  However, that has not been able to deter space whalers that go from planet to planet searching for whales to hunt thus making Levithans a rare sight for humans.

The only person who has been able to provide recorded footage of them divng and hunting is Sakuya Tachibana, which has become readily available on the network.

Noted for being the largest land carnivore on Atlas, these animals rarely hunt. Although they have a  frightening appearence they pose little to no threat to humans aside from their massive collosal sizes. Their ancestors were, oddly enough, bovines (in otherwords, they were once cows).

Being extremely maternal reptiles they usually will raise hundreds of hatchlings that don't even belong to them, this is so that the younger females will continue to hunt for the elder females within the territory that look after youngsters.

They are slow and sluggish, but their long neck gives them an edge when it comes to hunting.

Dracosaurs are often found near watering holes, they know that by staying there prey will come to them.
